A downloadable game for Windows

In a land plagued by darkness and corruption, the once-great Shogun has fallen, leaving chaos and despair in its wake. Ancient spirits known as the Shadow Kami have emerged from the depths of the underworld, seeking to engulf the realm in eternal night.

As a lone samurai warrior, burdened by the loss of your family and your left arm, you  embark on a perilous journey. Your quest is simple:  to vanquish the Shadow Kami before their darkness consumes the world.

Shadows of the Shogun is a fast paced first-person hack and slash, where play you as Hikaru and use his out-of-style samurai swordsmanship to defeat the Shadow Kami. Use your chain to get close and personal, deflect incoming hell beams and blitz your way up the ranks.

Created for the Samurai Jam in two weeks time.


How to play:

  • Jump - Ta SPACE button, tap again for a double jump
  • Attack - Use LMB to attack and dash attack if close enough
  • Deflect - RMB lets you deflect incoming projectiles.
  • Slow Motion - Toggle the ability with MMB
  • Wallrun - Jump to a wall at an angle
  • Run - Hold Shift

You've pretty much got the combat and gameplay down to a T, enemies are just a little bit too accurate.
